Good location. Great bar area. Great vibe. Service was slow. Entree's were not to enjoyable though; the look and taste was below par.

We got a gift card at Christmas for Paul's and were very happy we did. The first visit ordered pizza with all toppings. The second ordered the veal marsala. Both were amazing. We will b back!

Went for lunch and found the atmosphere cozy and peaceful. The server was attentive but not overly which made the experience much more pleasant. I will definitely be going back for their dinner service. Their menu is loaded with a nice variety of Italian dishes and desserts.

I absolutely love this place. I moved to wilson from Brooklyn NY and so happy I found this place. There pizza is the closest to ny pizza you will ever have in NC. I dine in about once a month and my family and I order take at least once a week. This place hands down is the best Italian food I have had here in NC. There marinara sauce is amazing. When you dine in the bread and butter they serve at the table is HEAVEN. Definitely one of my top choices when eating out.

Used the party room to host a meeting and had a great experience. The food was delicious. The customer service was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful food

Paul's is unequivocally is a great dining experience! I have never been let down by the amazing taste of the dishes nor has the atmosphere ever been unappealing. A class place on any occasion!

The food was pretty good overall. The crusty bread was delicious - piping hot, crusty outside, and tender inside. My ravioli was pretty good despite some of the pasta being a bit tough. My husband's chicken parmegiana tasted very good, and the spaghetti was decent.I wish the menu had more information than just the dish name. We had the portabello mushrooms appetizer and didn't realize they would just be cooked mushroom slices. They tasted fine, but they sure weren't what we were expecting.Service was decent - not super attentive, but we didn't have to wait long for anything, either.In summary, we enjoyed our meal and would eat there again, but it's certainly not on our list of favorites.

The food was good. The portions of the manicotti were tiny. One manicotti for $10.95 and $6.95 for a small salad is highway robbery for Wilson.

I am a New Yorker and moved to North Carolina 10 years ago. This is the best Italian food that I have found in North Carolina . The atmosphere is great as well as the service. The owner is very personable and greets his customers. When I visit, I feel like I am home. Aubrey Warren.

Usually get takeout but have dined in a few times. We always order their New Year Special Pizza - XL - so we will have pizza to take home. Staff members are always friendly and service is quick. My favorite pizza place locally!

The service was great, but the food was a major let down. They want to convey a fancy vibe, but once you see and taste the food, you learn its only egg noddles covered in cheese sauce.

If you're visiting Wilson I highly recommend Paul's of New York for the best italian food in town. I absolutely love the pizza, calzones, and cheesy garlic bread. My husband always orders one of the specials. He especially like the Chicken Carbonara! My mother claims the homemade lasagna is "to die for"! Whenever family or friends come to visit us we always take them to Paul's of New York! p.s. Try the Cannoli's for dessert....

Cozy restaurant, I was invited as part of a large group of Knights of Columbus (20-25). We were treated well, cared for, and somewhat pampered.The food was well prepared and served efficiently. I will be back to this fantastic place in Wilson NC. Bonjour!

Pizza was good but was told that the mushrooms we're fresh but they weren't.

Veal Carbanara was excellent! My wife had Eggplant Roletinia, and it was also very good! Highly recommend Paul's!

Non Dairy upon request! I ordered the Veal Marsala which is normally prepared in butter, the chef came out to confirm what I could and could not eat and said there was no problem making adjustments. Wonderful meal! Thank you so much! Skip Olive Garden eat local, eat real food cooked fresh and to order. I don't miss noise and half hearted service of chain restaurants. Paul's is the only Italian I'll pay for.

I've had a lot of good Italian food, but there is no topping Paul's! The Marinara is heavenly. The wait staff go out of their way to make sure that you have everything that you need. Our favorite place to eat!

It was very nice the service was very good and the food was good and enjoyable meal

Went there with a party, group and service was ok except for leaving off one entree and telling us that it will be out in a minute. Turned out to be 20 minutes later and never afforded too much of an apology or comp that meal, which finally arrived as some people in the group were getting ready to leave. Not good relations when you have a group spending about $500 on food and drinks.Marinara sauce is meant to be a condiment not something to drown your pasta in.I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK OR RECOMMENDING

An unfortunate warning...I saw a mouse run out the kitchen and through the eating area last time I was here, needless to say that was the last time I went there. The food is incredibly over-priced and the food very lackluster. The pizza is also soggy and wet for some reason. I highly recommend not eating here.

Great eats with a super friendly staff!!

Placed a pickup order over the phone. The person taking the order obviously wasn't paying attention as I had to repeat the order several times. Upon arrival, I was ignored for several minutes before someone attempted to seat me. When I told her I had a pickup order she walked away. Finally, I found someone to help, paid for my order and left. The food was as disappointing as the service. While the manicotti was quite good, the pizza was a soggy flavorless mess. Needless to say, most of it found it's way into the garbage. Maybe this was just a rare bad experience at Paul's? I was hoping for much more after having coworkers rave about the food, but I'm afraid I won't be up for another trip to Paul's anytime soon, nor could I suggest it to others.
